The SYMPHONY Grand Chromatic is a professional chromatic harmonica with uniquely inspired technical developments that sets new standards in sound, airtightness, playability, and reliability.

The SYMPHONY Grand Chromatic is available in two versions:
With aluminium body and trapezoidal mouthpiece = variant 'ALU' or with
a transparent green acrylic body and half-moon shaped mouthpiece = variant 'ACRYL'.
The recessed reed plates (1 mm) are precision-cut from anti-corrosion German silver. Hand-tuning of the 64 stainless steel reeds, tight tolerances, and newly developed SEYDEL keys (with less sticking force than conventional keys) create an instrument with precise tone control and a rich sound with a full four-octave range.
The 'ALU' version has a black anodized aluminum comb (total weight 438g), while the 'ACRYL' version has a translucent green acrylic comb (total weight 362g). Both are CNC-machined and perfectly balanced.
The recessed tongue plates are mounted with stainless steel screws and screwed down individually.
Solid, die-cast, coated aluminum cover plates are individually screwed on, creating a wide-open rear design for a balanced feel and dynamic, full, warm sound projection across all four octaves.
The precisely fitting, stable slide, made of 1mm German silver, features an ergonomically domed, silver-coated slide button with a soft finger surface. Each slide is individually wrapped around the mouthpiece, making it very quiet and extremely airtight.
It can be maintained very easily by just unscrewing a single screw at the back of the comb and pulling out the slider for easy cleaning.
The bridge accommodates the included carrying strap, made of genuine leather and embossed with the SEYDEL logo, for secure attachment. It can be attached to either the right or left side of the SYMPHONY Grand Chromatic.
The "ALU" version has a trapezoidal mouthpiece, while the "ACRYL" version has a half-moon mouthpiece. Both versions are silver-plated and screw down from the back of the comb for optimal playing comfort, eliminating the need for screw heads on the outside of the mouthpiece for improved performance.
