The Olive is a model between the Promaster and the Manji. The Suzuki is a favorite among experienced players for its superior tone and smooth response. The model's bridge is made of a rosin comb material that contains over 50% wood fibers.

Suzuki's latest 10-hole diatonic combines features of their best-selling Promaster diatonic and the relatively recent Manji. The first thing you notice when you remove the harmonica from its handy drawstring bag is the beautiful metallic olive green finish of the covers—a finish applied directly to the stainless steel, so there's no paint to wear through or peel (the photo above really doesn't do it justice—you really need to see one of these in person). The covers are shaped like those of the Promaster and feel both sturdy and comfortable in the hand and mouth. The reed plates are 0.8mm plated brass with phosphor bronze reeds, secured with eight Phillips head screws (airtight). The comb is similar to that of the Manji, a composite of resin and wood fibers, the only difference being that the Olive's comb is dark colored.
