*Charlie moved to Chicago, the city of the blues, in 1962 at the age of 18 and quickly became part of the vibrant black blues scene. None other than harmonica legend Big Walter Horton soon took him under his wing, and over time, Charlie played with Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, and John Lee Hooker, to name just a few.
Over the course of his long career, Charlie Musselwhite has recorded over 20 albums and collaborated on countless recordings by renowned colleagues. Numerous awards, including 14(!) WC Handy Blues Awards, induction into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2010, and a Grammy for his album "Get Up!" with Ben Harper, demonstrate his high regard and recognition in the American and international blues scene.*

The solid polished stainless steel comb adds a very resonant tonal component to the sound and ensures that the harmonica fits very well in the hand with its weight of 160g.
The polished stainless steel cover plates with special Charlie Musselwhite embossing and side openings are fully rounded at the mouth and wide open at the back. This ensures optimal sound projection.
