You don't have to throw away your out-of-tune Classic; you can easily install a new set of reed plates. You can also install different keys; for example, if you have an 1847 model in C that no longer sounds good, you can order a set of reed plates in key A, as they are interchangeable.

These reed plates are made of German silver and are therefore almost insensitive to external influences, equipped with stainless steel reeds (RVS). Seydel is known for their stainless steel reeds, which last many times longer than standard reeds and are ultimately easier to play.
