Original metal Kazoo
The kazoo is a simple but very fun/funny instrument.
*Available directly from stock in approx. 1 working day
The instrument consists of a metal or plastic tube with a paper membrane in the wall. By singing or humming a note with the kazoo in your mouth, the membrane vibrates and the sound is distorted and amplified.
The kazoo should be played on the wide end for the best results.
The principle of the kazoo has been used in musical instruments for centuries.
Harmonica techniques can be applied to the kazoo, and effects can be created by moving both hands at the outgoing part of the tube.
A fun little exercise, then!
