Unlike the standard Manji, which has a powerful tone, the Manji Sky aims for a lighter feel and tone. Suzuki designed a new reed exclusively for the Manji Sky, in pursuit of the lightest feel and tone among Suzuki's 10-hole harmonicas.
This model is recommended for those who want to play chords rhythmically (vamp), play faster phrases and have difficulty or are looking for an easy harmonica for note bending.
The body/bridge of the Manji Sky is made of the same composite resin with natural wood fibers as the Manji. The light blue color evokes the sky and creates the lightness characteristic of the Manji Sky. The Manji and Manji Sky have completely opposite characteristics in terms of sound and playability.
